BASIC CARBINE RIFLE

An entry level course for carbine rifle shooters and enthusiasts. This class is geared for those who have not had any formal instruction or training on the modern AR15/M4 Rifle. Topics covered include safety, stance, zeroing for iron sights and optics, sight alignment and trigger control. Familiarization with the carbine includes field stripping and maintenance. Other subject matter that is covered includes emergency reloads, tac-reloads, presentation/set times, shooting positions, and introduction to different skill drills including dry fire and marksmanship.

REQUIRED GEAR:

  • Modern Battle Rifle (AR15 M4 Variant)

  • 4 - 30 round rifle magazines

  • Pistol with 3 magazines

  • Sling for your rifle

  • Magazine Pouch

  • 300 Rounds of rifle ammo

  • Ear protection

  • Eye protection

  • Ball cap

  • Water 

  • Lunch and snacks (the range is out of town)
